Introduction

To enhance the research and humanities communication abilities of faculty and students in project universities, and to promote high-quality development, the Sino-Foreign Dual Mentor Academic Research Workshop (hereinafter referred to as the workshop) invites renowned professors from Chinese and foreign universities to collaborate. The workshop adopts the PBL project-based learning mode and offers topics covering various disciplines such as humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, agriculture, medicine, etc. The topics also encompass award-winning projects, focusing on global academic frontiers and research trends. The workshop is dedicated to introducing high-level educational resources and providing an international exchange platform for Chinese and foreign faculty and students. In the summer of 2023 and the winter of 2024, the workshop was successfully held on-site at Southwest Jiaotong University, East China Normal University, and Communication University of China, providing young students with an excellent opportunity to broaden their international horizons without leaving the country.

Professor Evaluation Form

Students who complete the project will receive a professor evaluation form issued by both Chinese and foreign professors based on their performance.

International Conference Paper

In the project, students will write an academic paper based on the topic content. They will have the opportunity to publish it as the independent first author at an international conference and gain the chance to attend international conferences.

Professor Recommendation Letter

Obtaining recommendation letters from Sino-Foreign dual professors can be used for future academic applications to enhance competitiveness.

Academic Research Enhancement

By conducting research and solving complex real-world problems, students can enhance their overall academic literacy and research abilities.
